Minimum Flight Requirements:

Certified Flight Instructor

  As a low time pilot, the best way to continue your education and build flight time is to become a Certified Flight Instructor.
  Privileges: To provide training for compensation or hire, conduct flight reviews, and give endorsements for pilot training, aircraft ratings and exams
  Eligibility Requirements:
 
  • Hold Commercial Certificate in Category and Class
  • Pass the Airman's Knowledge Test
  • Pass the Oral and Practical Test
  Minimum Flight Experience:
 
  • 3 hours test prep

    Most of the work towards this rating is ground instruction.
    The flight portion is just proficiency.
    (Most Candidates Require about 10 hours of Flight)
